New project car.

Well, apparently one of my buddies has been holding out on me for some time. He's had a white 86 RX-7 parked behind his garage for the longest time that he doesn't even want. I'm buying it for like $150 just so he can get rid of it. Guess who's droppin a 350 in it, this guy. I'm excited about this one. Of course, the Balt comes first, so it may be a while before I Really get to modding the RX-7, but by the end of the week, that bad boys mine.

This isn't the exact one, but the one I am buying is the same color and has the same wheels. Everything's identical. I'll have pics of the actual one I'm buying as soon as I can get over there.

For my fellow nerds out there who Love Initial D like I do, you think I should put a Redsuns decal on the back?

by 350, do you mean SBC? If you buy a rotary car like an RX-7, esp since they are more-or-less rare since they've been gone for a few years, I'd keep the rotary in there.

Unless of course, I'm mistaken as to what a 350 is...

But anyway, congrats on the find!

13bt swap. Or do something original. Everyone puts a chevy block in the 7s. Dont do a carb they just look bad on them. You usually have to cut up the hood to get the carb to fit. The grand national blocks look really good in them and so do the nissan twin turbo blocks.

What could I salvage a 13bt out of? Me and my friend were talking about somehow getting a turboed 4 cyl out of a old turbo 626. Only problem would be finding a bell housing to make it rear wheel drive. Maybe a housing off of a ranger transmision, an older one. Those were mazda engines and trannies.
