Hey I have been looking for one of those big ass CrateEngineDepot logos...

im definitely going to buy the dual pass enplate before the20th but do i also have to buy a y connector or something? also, how much more effiecient will this part help a stg 2 setup?

The dual pass endplate will help keep everything running cooler thus not robbing horse power from the heat being built up under hard driving conditions. For lack of a better explination.
I hope that helps.

it's basically clamped on. big ass clamp going around the pipe holding the tip on.

The tip connects to the pipe using a clamp. Yes you need a tip to get the exhaust past the rear fascia. The GM tip is designed to be used with the GMPP exhaust systems. Click here to read the GM Performance Exhaust FAQ

this may seem like a stupid question but why dosent gm just make all the aftermarketparts we need like it would be really great if SOMEBODY let alone GM will amke a header for the air injection models, and it would be great if GM would make a downpipe and just offer us things we can add to our car and keep the warranty but no that would be smart lol

Just ordered the perfomance cat-back with a straight cut tips.

I'm from canada and shipping charge only show up at 32.95$?! Even with duty it'll be way under the price I got from my dealer!

Will get you an update (about duty and service) when I receive it for you fellow canadian buyer!

UPDATE: Cost me 124.54$ cnd with ups for duty and tax for a total of 624$ including all fee for the performance exhaust and a straight tip! Way lower that what I would had paid around here.

I ordered mine (stage 2) from them a few weeks ago, just got it installed. They used USPS and not UPS, which REALLY cuts down on fees. USPS charged me $88, whereas UPS would have charged probably double!

Oh, just some advice after driving around in Stage 2:

Yeah just a fupa, we add the tracking numbers throught out the day but they are not valid unitl UPS picks up late in the afternoon. Once they have pick up the tracking numbers should start working.

Hi, No problem getting it before the 25th. It should only be 3 maybe 4 working days. Your card won't be charged until we process the order and are ready to ship. Feel free to call me tomorrow and I can set up something for you.

I've dealt with some great people before, and i'm pretty hard to impress, but wow! i had to get some parts ordered, even with that it took about a week to get, which in its self is good but nothing out of the ordinary.

that packing job was phenomenal, not that an exhaust is going to get hurt durring shipping, but if there were a dozen glass eggs there would have been no chance of any of them being hurt, great job! I'm not a sticker fan, but 6 stickers, it may be a little over kill but way to take care of the customer, and the poster, THAT is over the top service!

great prices, excellent service, I'll be back!

thanks again, I HIGHLY recomend anyone buy from these people, thanks dave!

Well just got done with the install of the manifold last night. A lot easier that the endplate. This only took 2 hours for me to do. This includes dropping one of the manifold nuts ontop of the engine and searching for it for 20 minutes with a magnet.

The manifold on the inside tubes were honned out pretty good. But right where it meets the enginge it looked like the tubes were never touched. So I took the dremel to it and I did a little porting pollishing my self.

The torque on the fastners are very light and if you do the install be prepared to see smoke come off of the manifold almost like a leak but that was just the oils and new gaskets setting in so don't be alarmed.

So far I have not been able to see what it feels like past 60mph. but the second gear stomp on it feel of the pants feels pretty good and the shifts seem to be smoother than stock.

Well it's time to see what it will do at the track. I think I want to ge the DP for the car but I'm tossed up for that. Any way well see.
Not able to get any photos becasue once I started doing the install I was too in it to stop and take photos. Sorry..

Honestly I don't see the debate, think positive:
1. fuel mileage
2. faster
3. exciting
4. the feel you get when you stomp on it
5. makes me happy
6. its the holiday weekend, go out and live a little
