We are going to have a little meet and greet for all the NOLA and surrounding Balt's and RLs All are welcome.

The original Rendevous point will be ther first pull off parking lot on the RIGHT if you com up West End Bulovard from the I-610 Canal Street Exit. IF my memory serves me right it should be right by Joe's Crab Shack on the other side of the road.

if you still have trouble finding how to get there.just use mapquest and type in 8000 lakeshore drive new orleans la 70124.that is joes crab shack.right across the street is the parking lot.

i think the lakefront is not open at night because there is no lights.im going to see tonight .so if it is not up and running where would be another place.

 

If not there is always the Bonnabel boat launch...

 

i just went out there and the street is block off.but it looks like you can still get into the big parking lot.there are no lights on but there is a little parking lot right before the big on.that one has lights.i will go tomorrow and see if the point is open that is on the lake too,right there.bonnabel has people there all the time but get kicked out alot because of the houses out there.

yall let me know what is going on.where are we going to meet.if we get kicked out of the lake we can ride out to another place.i got some other people coming from nosr.org.that is people from around here.they said its cool.they got ss's.it looks like im going to be the only redline.

 

Well we are still on for the lake.... while it is light out we can meet/greet/ take pics/cruise and what not. By the time it is to dark to see everyone that would be coming will already be there. so we can all make a group decision on where to cruise. So just meet at the rally point across from Joe's at 7.

 

if no one can meet there bc of the cops and the fact that it might be closed where is the alternative meeting point??

I personally have not be down there in a while but a couple of months ago i was always going to play vollyball at coconut beach around the corner behind Joes where Jagers and the dock used to be and we would be there after dark. So i am not worrired to much and the fact that there is still an hour and a half of daylight left. But if you want an alternative meeting place lets say the Lakeside mall... lots of parking and seeing a bunch of balts/ redlines parked in the back of the lot would be easy. Not to mention it is like 5 miles from the lake so we wont have to drive far. But that is only if the cops are blocking it off.

Yea we are still meeting there. Weather.com has thier perdiction at high 85 low 69 and a 20% chance or rain. So it is still on
