2.2 Supercharged!

Well, I hope it's not a repost but I found this on You Tube. There are a few videos of the 2.2 Supercharged Cobalt. I really couldn't believe it at first but he says he gets like 14lbs of boost. Has anyone seen it? Is this guy a member on here? He says the program he uses but I couldn't hear it that well, shitty speakers on the PC at work. Well here's the link

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrF6NSIZs2Q&NR=1

EDIT: After watching the other 2 vids, I had to post em'. Enjoy!

That's a major repost... but it's alright to bring it up again.

The guy posted a lot a few weeks ago... then kinda dissapeared.

I wonder if it blew on him.

I think everybody needs to step back for a minute. We should all be giving this guy the thumbs up. I say this because, yes, he has tried something that nobody else has really done before. People I dont think realize the time and effort this guy put into his ride, He cleary loves it and if I were him I wouldnt care what other people think of it. I am sure he is very proud of it. As for the people who say its gunna blow up, Yes it may blow up, but then again it may not. He is taking the same risks some of the SS/SC guys and the couple of 2.4 turbo guys are doing. In reality EVERYBODY runs the risk of blowing there motor once they start modding. Its just a fact of life. Now people stop with the negaitve comments, Im sure you wouldn't like if people talked about your ride like that

i don't think he had it tuned and fully done up in the videos if I remember correctly , and he was supposedly getting on it about half throttle because of this. I give him lots of props, I just hope he doesn't pop something because 2.2 s aren't built internally for forced induction like the ss' and ss/sc's

no but they can take a beating. gm snapped the rods at 280 something and that was on nitrous which hits a lot harder. He def has some more tuning to do. You can't get it right in one weekend.

if you don't beat the cars you listed then putting on the SC was worthless... seriously a 2.4 can beat those if they have a good driver ... not to bash you man but you just shouldn't have a problem beating them lol.. I cant wait to see your new vids when your arms heal

^^This guy is right! How many people on here are even smart enough to change the setup of their engine. I'm not talking about bs stuff(i.e. injectors, plugs, pulleys). Thats easy. I'm talking about adding forced induction to a system not setup for it. So, I don't know why people bash the guy when half the people on here take their cars to a shop to get the work done.

Not really you man...just other people on here talking about his setup. Half those people wouldn't even know how to pull their engines or run piping for turbo or change harnesses for SC. Its nothing personal against you. I just hate when people talk trash that really have know idea what they're talking about. Usually they just hear someone talk about cars then go repeat the info somewhere else as if they know.
Not saying I'm a mechanic but I commend the guy for doing somemthing I wouldn't try to do
