What to buy first if running a 2.5" pulley

What should I buy first a CA front mount heat exchanger or a dual pass intercooler plate.

Your going to need both along with a second coolant resovoir. With the 2.5, your going to have a great deal of heat soak. You'll get one good run in and then it will be all downhill from there at the track or on the street. If you could only buy one for now, I would say the dual pass endplate.

I would say both as well. For added protection some methanol would be great.

Yeah 2.5 is a pretty big leap. Persoanlly, I wouldnt run that at all... I think a 2.8 is as low as I'll go on this blower

2.7 is perfectly safe. The thing to keep in mind is that the smaller you go, the more you need to be able to cool the car down. 2.5 + 1 cooling part = DISASTER!

yah i plan on getting the endplate, Front mount H/E, and Water/meth injection, plus porting my blower but money doesnt grow on trees and it takes time plus i want to buy hp tuners. Wouldnt it make sense to buy the Front Mount H/E to prevent heat soak?

Personally i wouldnt go that low, due to heat, over spining, and piston # 4 going boom in some peoples applications, but i would get meth, and h/e, thats your best bet, but plan on a new blower in the near future, due to the 2.5 in time will destroy the bearings, as did a 2.7 on my last car, which ate up all the grease.

I've run a 2.5" pulley with no cooling mods whatsoever for almost a year now and the car is my daily driver. If you don't constantly beat on the car it will last a long time. I personally like the 2.5" for the partial throttle power and torque at low rpms.

get the end plate, option b, and the h/e. That is what i have on my 2.5 pully car, you could port the blower if you know what your doing for a free mod, and add meth for some extra protection

id get the water/meth first but i dont know how to tune for water/meth. also i just bought a new supercharger coupler, oil, and bearing grease from intense to prevent the bearings from burning up. ill probly get the front mount and dual pass, then get the hp tuners, and once i learn how to tune and what not ill probly buy the water/meth injection. Id port my blower myself but i really dont trust myself to do it.

honestly both are a must as well as methanol injection, id also consider a nitrous/co2 intercooler sprayer on the heat exchanger, your going to need all the help you can get

You could get away with spraying a bit of methanol without a tune (Probably not the best), but I would spray it before the blower (of course) for cooling benefits as well as your IAT2 will help the fuel trim adjust.

only 11,775 miles and already had to have the supercharger replaced b/c of bearings gone bad , started making weird noises the day after my 1st top end run 142mph but since new supercharger i'm still all about a warranty and if i have to change the pulley back 2 stage 2 swap back to stock intake and reflash back to stg2 then i'd much rather do that then worrying about if the bearings go bad on a ported blower and then u know VOIDbut yea man i like my warranty i'd go w/ dual pass endplate w/ extra resivour thats what the empty space is for right?

oh man they beat me to it!

I'd say neither of those.

the next mod you buy for your 2.5" pulley would have to be the spare motor to sit in your garage until 2 weeks from now when you need it

Ive had my 2.5" pulley on for almost a year and my car runs fine. If it blows it blows, it'll just give me an excuse to do an engine rebuild lol.
