Carbon Fiber Interior Trim Kit

This is my first post. Hello everybody!

My friend says that GM is going to have a carbon fiber trim interior trim kit in August/September.

He said they already have a red, blue, and yellow one. I checked the website and the red, blue, yellow ones were right there. I called a dealership and they told me the didn't know what I was talking about. What gives? Has anyone actually bought one? Are they better than those stick on ones?

hey man there is a cobalt out here at a dealership. it is some kind of regent tuning edition or something. it has the razzi kit, 17 inch enkei's, a cool vynil, dual exhaust tips by silverline, and a carbon fiber dash kit. so obviously the dash kit is available somehow. wish that one was ss s/c....its the 2.2 5 speed.

The factory one's in the 07 G5's is only the strip that goes across the dash. The steering wheel audio controls, shift knob, shifter bezel, and door switch panel are the same silver trim the Cobalt's have. That, and the radio is Pontiac standard black, not silver.

I think the one at the dealership you are talking about is an ARCA edition

Welcome to the site... I'm not a big fan of carbon fiber interior trim... I'm probably going to color match it. Carbon fiber is nice when there isn't very much, but a lot of times it just seems like overkill.

Most likely fake, it is GM after all. Either way, I love the look on the G5's and would definitely jump on it if GM offered the kit for a reasonable price.
