It will ONLY work on the 2005-07 Cobalt 2.0L engine and the 2004-07 Redline 2.0L engine, NO OTHER MODELS :)

ummm why doesn't it work with anything besides the SS/sc and Redline? from what I understood the reverse lockout can be messed with... i know people have the B&M shifter for Redlines installed on non RLs, and I was under the impression the B&M and hurst are almost identical... I would get one for my 2.4 if it would actually work

i read them twice then knew how to install the shifter right away, i also had them nearby when i was doing it, but it is pretty straight forward

Hmmmm......I noticed on the pic that the shift pattern looks painted on. Is it engraved into the shift knob?

Yeah it was pretty simple. The hardest part I had was popping the right hand cable out and snapping it into the Hurst shifter. The rest was really easy. One thing I had going for me was that my stock shifter popped all apart last week so I didn't really have to disassemble much :lol:

The polished picture that is on our website is from Hurst, the actual product Hurst shipped is the Gunmetal color. Hurst does not make a polished shifter, they are all the same, which is again gunmetal color.
