Has anyone had a problem with the ZZP 2.6 MPS fitment? I am considering get this system but was told by another member that they had a fitment issue and it destroyed the snout. For those of you with it did you have to machine the snout or did you just put it on? What your feedback on this? Thanks Guys

anyone???

ZZP runs Ecotec specific pullies, so you can go as low as 2.5" w/o machining the snout. you will need to buy the modular pulley system with a 2.6" pulley, to replace your stage 2 hub and pulley:cssNET:

*Note, alot of people think that 2.5" is not a good idea, and overspins the blower = Lots of heat.
^^2.6" is borderline.. 2.7" is generally accepted as safe enough, if you have the proper cooling mods

Actually not true on the snout machining. I have a 2.6" modular pulley system from ZZP and I had to machine the snout a little to get mine to fit. It rubbed the casting. To be sure, just take the pulley and slide it over the snout without the hub. If it goes and will turn freely, you should be good. If not, happy sanding/dremeling/machining!

I've never heard of anyone having a problem B4. Are you sure you didnt press it on too far? (all pullies are aligned)

You can run down to a 2.6" without machining the snout but it's very close with the 2.6" and on some cars rubs. I recommend installing the hub .5mm from flush to hold the pulley out just a smidge for clearance.

see.. it's supposed to fit. i think you guys are pressing it on beyond flush, and that why it's rubbing. I could be wrong, but that's my opinion.
