Last night was a pretty good turn out at the track....too bad I missed most of yall......and my balt' was running like ****....the best run I pulled out was a 14.7......which was good enough to beat the 15.3 the turbo civic had next to me....but I'm so unhappy at how my car is running...I ran a 14.3 on bald tires last time at the track (that was before I had a catback and a new clutch)....now I'm having boost problems due to adding S/C oil to my S/C because of the bearing noise.....and it screwed my boost all up........I'm going to reprogram my PCM at work on Monday (bc for some reason my stage 2 was bouncing off factory rev limit at 6.5k)...and see if that solves some of my headaches, and sometime next week I'm taking my S/C off my car, and completely draining it, and then I'll refill it to spec (which I cant find a spec anywhere)....and as of this morning I'm now saving for a header because that catback free'd up too much backpressure and I know I lost power.....but enough whining, it was a good night and I hope eveyone wants to come back and do it again another time.......

The track was in GREAT shape last night. They stopped racing like 8 times to either clean up people's crap or for the bikes

First pass of the night was against JohnsRallyYellow's buddy that has a stg1 skittle. Unfortunetly the right lane wasn't giving full info

I had a .3 r/t, 6.1 330, 11.9 1000', 14.10 1/4 and 103.31.... (The skittle ran a 13.9 at 99, he had me by a 1/4 car )

Other notable runs...

Ran against a LS1, I had a 2.2 60' (left lane) 14.15 1/4 at 99mph (odd run) with a reaction time of .072!!! WOOT! The LS1 ran a 13.49 at 104.41.

I ran against RallyYellow twice, first time I won...second time was

Photo ~ 14.38 at 102mph Rally ~ 14.36 at 97.9 mph....what a GREAT race! He took me by a f'ing fender!

Of all the Rice that was there I had to line up against the 12 sec CRX...D'oh!

There was a '69 Camaro there that ran a SOLID 8.6 in the 1/4... Rally and I were lined up against one another about third in line and got to watch this thing run. It was just filthy....both of us all most **** ourselves. Mrs P has a pic of it that she'll post up at some point.

There was a twin turbo Supra, 2 nice Mach1's, and 2 vettes...one being our very own Matt205's dad's. I didn't get a chance to race Matt 205. Kane was there breaking in the new cluth and tranny for Elf's car (no he didn't race, just putting miles on it for her). We also had a possible new member to our cul...I mean club. EcotecLSJ from the shortbus site got there late. I met him and I believe it was his girlfriend...very cool guy! Also, Carlos (former Balt owner *and still DSLSJA member* that traded it in for an S2k ran a 14.5 totally stock. Being that the car has 500 miles on it I'm sure he'll be below that once he is used to the car and launches better! It is going to be damn funny to see our club sticker on the S2k, lol

Once i get the bwood traction bars (slorl....wink, nudge...where are my bars?!?) and new tires (I have 38k on the orginal stock dunlops) there is no reason that I wont be in the 13's.

Eco..I still think you have a conflict between running a 2.8 on 42#'s. That and your exhaust isn't doing you any favors. After getting a reflash you should talk to our VP SCBLKRL @ HP tuning. You'll have a brand new car. =)

I had ran seven times (this was my first time at the strip) 3 of the seven i did not get the car into second so they were low 15's, but my other 4 were great, i had a 14.554 @ 98, a 14.419 @ 99, a 14.392 @ 98, and my best run a 14.344 @ 98, good enough to beat RallyYellow by .05 seconds haha, (had to get that in there, he talked a bunch of crap to me before we went) I cannot wait to go back! Hopefully the next time i'll have Stage 2!

not bad matt, especially for not being staged yet. I guess that shows how much an exhaust can help out.

Today, I removed my S/C. And since I couldnt find the spec. for filling it, I went to our warranty shelf and pulled out my old one, drained it, and dumped its fluid into a measuring cup. The spec. is 2.5 fl oz. if anyone needs it. So I put that into my S/C and reinstalled it onto my car, and now my boost is back!! Yay, lol. Ne ways, my S/C still knocks, and I figured out the whole rev limit thing. GM has a bulliten out that states that the tachometer might read 500-600 rpms off in 1st and 2nd gear so when it reads 6400-6500 it might actually be at 7k (stage 2 rev limit). I reprogrammed my PCM anyway and then drove my vehicle. The tach. read 6.5k for first and 2nd when I hit rev limit and 3rd, 4th, and 5th the tach. read up to 7k. So unfortunately GM's bulliten says theres no way to correct this other than to get an aftermarket tachometer. Oh well, at least my car isnt running shitty anymore. The CEL went away too, probably due to my reprogram.

Mr Photo; I'm still interested in joining up, let me know how I can (?)! And, I'm definately interested in that tune. You guys should come out to the Rock again and try and drag more club members out there.

Hey LSJ06Ecotec....glad you got your car working again.

Photo mentioned to me that he meet you at the Rock and you'd be interested in joining up with us.

I'm VP of the club so I can answer most of your questions. Just shot me a pm and I can help you out.
