Whenever I see someone from GM talking about it, they say Echo tech. So I would assume thats what it is.

I don't care how it's supposed to sound, I say ECO tech just for the simple reason that it makes no sense why GM would name an engine after a ******* dolphin.

I've always said Eco tec because it's an economy sized engine. Nevermind, Economy is pronounced like this (i-kon-uh-mee) i = it, big, fish. So, I guess technically it would be Echo Tec (i-ko-tek) according to dictionary.reference.com.
