SSBC big brake conversion for sale.

I have the big brake conversion from ssbc for sale off my 06 ss/sc.This is the kit origionally on the Desired Customs Cobalt.I bought is off Victory_red_ss. I would like to get my money back out of it. Selling $900 US Shipped
The car stops way better with these brakes but the brake pedal has more travel (low pedal) and there is some issues with getting the park brake to work properly.I have no time to deal with these issues right now.And my wife won't drive the car with no park brake so I took them off.
If you want more pics send me your e mail.
Here is the link where I got them.
trade for CF hood with venting or scoop.+ cash

Thanks,Chris.

is this the big brake rear conversion (drum -> disc) or the larger brake system to be used on the front?

Sounds to me like you have some install issues.

Well I mean the front calipers are dual piston which and take more fluid to move, therefore the brake pedal has to travel further down to push the pistons out. The park brake doesn't work right because SSBC doesn' t supply a bracket to hold the outer park brake cable, so there is no consistancy to the operation.I could build a bracket but I don't feel like it due to the fact that the pedal feel is not good in my opinion.

NO There is not any install issues.I have worked on a few cars and have blead the brakes more times then I could count. The only issue is that SSBC figures they don't have to make a bracket for the park brake to work properly.

Please only post here if you want to buy the brakes this is a forsale section not a we think you are a retart and don't know how to work on your car section.

These brakes are $2200 US new so 1/2 price is a good deal and maybe you could install them better than me.
Ciao,C

OK if you want the rear lets go 1/2 the list price you will probably want to repaint the calipers and you know I was having issues with the park brake getting the cable to line up properly. Acording to ssbc it works you just have to get it set up correctly

$610 shipped to you for the rear.Let me know.
