well here ya go i put a saturn 2.4 badge on our cobalt today and i have to say im VERY happy with the way it looks, heres the info if you want to do the mod, it will reassure all those ricers you just smoked that, "yea its a 2.4 biotch!"

from saturn, just order it from your nearest saturn dealer and drive there and get it, otherwise, have the dealer ship it to you when they get it in.

i eyeballed it, and got pretty damn close, the only reason you will get flamed for putting SS on your car is the SS 2.4 has more than just a upgraded engine, it has interior, suspension, brakes, wheels and uh its a CHEVY, you could put "REDLINE" 2.4, because saturn's high preformance car was a redline. hey thats a good idea, any takers?????????

I bought my SSCobalt just before thanksgiving 2006 & a week later my parents wanted to look/check out the new Saturn AURA ,
thats when i noticed the ion3's had a 2.4 emblem approx same location i put my emblem at...Neat Hah... :lol: :thumb:

My dealership gave me an IRL badge on my car, which was taken off. I am not a redline and did not want to confuse people. I should pick up the 2.4 badge though.

You can probably find something from an 80s Cavalier, before they bored the old OHV engine out to 2.2 liters.

did you have to move your SS badge to the left or it's always been there?

I like those 2.4 badges, maybe I could put them on the sides of the car near the GM square thing since I don't have SS badges (GT's only get a badge on the back, nothing inside or on the sides of the car)

the SS/SC & SS/2.4 , maybe it should have been RS/2.4 & just have One SS model

our cars are like the "pony package for a mustang" everything to make it look like a GT but in a v6, its for people who want a good balanced everyday driver comfortable car, and dont need the fastest car on the block, for several thousands less. i love the SS or Sport 2.4, its a GREAT package for the money, with rebates, our loaded sedan SS was only $17,300 new for a mid 15 sec sedan that looks AMAZING

Just FYI... pony pkg mustangs get the GT's suspension... don't know about the brakes though.

your own opinion bro. . . i guess, evos, s2000s, vettes, and other HIGH performance cars that have nearly the same exact pedals are just not worth it either.

i would never buy aftermarket pedals, those are pure ricer, but these are factory GM pedals. no neon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are not just pedals -- which is why the are a bit high. The GM pedals come with a new throttle control switch assembly.

look to the ancient Cavaliers when they had 2.0L FI on their fenders. I have one for under the hood on my SS. I think i got the last one in GM's parts bin.

do they come with the adhesive already on it and ready to be applied?

if you take one out can you put it back on somewhere else or the adhesive or the badge itself would be messed up?

They come ready to apply -- peal backing and stick. Not a good idea to pull 'em off and restick 'em.
