Took a rock just below the wiper blade. One day crack all the way to the top of the window.

 

Kinda confusing, the windshield cracked a while later after the inital hit? You will need a whole new windshield. $200

 

If your state is anything like FL on auto insurance laws, then you get a new windshield with NO up in insurance and no money out of pocket...try that way first...if not, good luck, gonna be costly.

 

lol i bought a warrenty on my windows when i bought the car. I can smash them how many times i want and get them replaced for free lol.

 

You might be able to make a claim on your insurance under the "comprehensive" portion...not "collision". That way, no rate increase. Check on your "comprehensive" deductible...for most people, it should be low, zero to $100. Collision should be $500-$1000 deductable. If it wasn't that way, revise it after this.
