hey everyone. i was looking under my hood yesterday and noticed this , pic in my gallery. what is it and is it broken

you shouldn't drive it till they tighten that up. It looks like your suspension is coming loose.
wait for a second opinion from the LS guys though.

I see what looks like a fairly normal transmission mount. Do you have any noticable problems?

If you have a concern why not just take it in for warranty? They'll not charge to check it.

its the trans/motor mount. shouldn't be that much clearence.. get it replaced under warranrty.

took it in today to have strut replaced, had them check trans mount. they said its ok normal

I think thats the heat sheild for the mount ,there has to be a air gap there to protect it from the heat off the cat.
