what do you guys think about this vid? (Si vs. SS S/C?)

Oh wait, unless the SC Balt never downshifted.....that could explain it.
or it is possible that he just has mods and was faster... but my point was only that there is no way that thing was stock.
dude....i dont think they were racing it doesnt even look like hes going that fast...and i didnt hear any honks...my money is that he turned his camera on and gunned it and just said they raced.
how do we know it was even an SS/SC.. all i saw in the vid was the nose of the Cobalt.. maybe it was an LS??
I mean he is a civic driver does he even know what an SS/SC is.. can he tell the diff..
Even if it had the big spoiler that does not mean anything anymore, as you can get that on the base models now
If it was an SS/SC then it wasnt a race for sure!

I have to agree that this is some BS... if that is an SS/SC why can't you hear the SC whine? If the SS/SC downshifted to third you should have heard the SC scream. My guess is he either punched it in 5th - MAYBE 4th - or maybe he wasn't even racing at all OR maybe it was an SS/NA. That civic didn't seem like he was accelerating fast enough to take a stock SS/SC at all.
Yeah, the day a stock Si runs a 14.1, i'll go trade in my Cobalt. I outran one with a 50 shot back when I had just stage 2 and cat-back. Recently, I pulled one rolling that had a 75 shot, not by much but I still won. Si's are quick and fun but not putting down enough power to touch a Cobalt SS/SC stock.
I don't understand why there is such a big discrepency in what the actual 1/4 time is for an Si...I've seen anywhere from high 14's stock to actually seen with my own eyes a high 15 and see a 2.4SS walk an Si.
I don't get it.
I don't get it.
