is says they are power mirrors so does that mean they hook up to the stock power mirror harness? any one heard any thing or had pervious experiance hookin aftermarket mirrors into there stock ones. word up you late night prowlers

yea i have them, they do hook up but it isn't plug and play it takes a little electrical know how ( testing, cutting, splicing). PS they look a lot better than the stockers for sure

i'll try to get pics tommorow, i'm not a big fan of fake cf either but they are small enough it doesn't stand out too much

 

I might get those black ones and get them painted to match. I hate how half of our mirrors are the insert color and the rest is black. I want it all red!

 

once i see some pics, if they look liek they match up all good then i may have to pick up some black ones..

It will be easier then trying to track down some black mirror caps, which for some reason never came with the base cobalts and are not for sale...

thats why i want to see pics because the black piece on ours is pretty big and the base on those mirrors looks pretty small.

 

here are some pics of the mirrors, they are a universal mirror with another vehicle specific part to take care of the rest of the space. I hope this helps you guys out

yea i didn't expect much when i bought them either. i figured if they look like **** i'll just throw them out and put the stock ones back on, but they fit suprisingly well.

Another thing: if you buy them there is no instructions at all, so if anyone has ?'s let me know.

yes they are power, they just take some cutting of the stock harness, not plug and play. And the black triangle piece came with it but that is how they can be so cheap cuz they just send dif plastic for dif apps, if you know what i mean

 

do the blinkers on those work?

 

yup thanks a lot. so pretty much it is a universal kit w/ different plastic triangles.

Eh, I don't really like that carbon fiber look. Wonder what they would look like painted to match the body.
