BWoody Traction Bars....install problem..?

Hey guys,

I finally got around to taking off the control arms out to drill them out at work on the press, and reinstalled them the other night. Went to install the bwoody traction bars, as per instructions, but ran into a problem. When the car is on the ground, the traction bar is touches the frame rail right by here its bolted in. Thats not good, doesn't allow for adjustment when its on the ground, and i'm just it would make a terrible knocking noise while driving.

I made sure that theres the bolt, tractin bar, spacer, lock washer, frame rail, washer, then nut.

Has anybody else run into this problem?? cause wtf? Its an 05 ss/sc. I just took the instructions off RL how to forum.

Thanks!
Nate

Your lowered. I don't think bwoody put in the extra R&R time for lowered cars. I read somewhere a guy that was lowered ended up having the traction bar break in half!

Don't think lowered has anything to do with since the springs loweres the body down, and not the axles up.

Plus, i've race with a RL that has them on his SSC lowering springs, altho, mines a lot lower. I want to know it anybody has then installed (on lowered?) with no issues. I can always throw in more spacers etc as last resort.

Why don't you just shoot an email over to BWoody. They are normally pretty good at answering.
