Anyone near seaside heights? Usually come down there for the day or short weekend trips with the girls...will be coming down there in about a month or so, just curious...

 

seaside heights is the absolute scummiest part of the jersey shore... i used to go there years ago before it was like this... or i just got older and didn't realize how it was before... haha... but now it's all wanna-be thugs and guidos with spiked hair and unbottoned shirts that are way too small...

Yea, I'm there alot. I only live 10 minutes away.

 

I go down to LBI, or OC usually.. never been to seaside.

 

it is trashy in seaside heights its worse then wildwood

 

i heard its not that great, but went there a few times last summer cuz its so close


where in NJ is a good beach to go to then?

 

NJ beaches all suck

 

my parents are 20 mins away i used to go out there all the time wheni was younger and before i knew any better. lol
its pretty dirty.

island beach state park is not bad, if you drive down there are go right and go allllll the way down past the boardwalk, thats island beach...or ortley is okay as well.
much cleaner and less crownded. and trust me NJ beaches are 100% better then NY. we have rocky beaches here in wading river/riverhead and jones beach is crowded as F-CK all summer.

If your going to the beach, I would DEFINATELY go to Point Pleasant over Seaside. There is a boardwalk there too, although it isn't nearly as long or fun as Seasides, but it is much much cleaner.

 

yep... ever since mtv came to down, it dragged seaside down with it...before then it was more family oriented and clean. pt pleasant also has a decent bar scene...usually cleaner. me...i would choose lavalette area for beach... pick up a tag as u walk into the sand and its much cleaner thanks to many of the owners keeping up to par and even the benny's throwing out there trash..

belmar isnt that bad, no boardwalk tho. wildwood is far, nice beach and boardwalk

 

My appartment is ten minutes away from Seaside so Im always down there at the clubs on the weekends.

 

I think I saw you in brick on Sunday. Was definately a black SS with tinted tails, on Cedar Bridge turning into the movie theatre parking lot. Heard the SC whine and looked up and saw that.

 

I'm about 45mins from Seaside depending on traffic. Yeah, it's not the best of places to go, but for bar hoppin, cruisin the strip, or just walkin to boardwalk it's not too bad. Once the weather gets nicer I will be down there more for sure.

DON'T GO TO SEASIDE UNLESS U WANNA GET A TICKET FROM A COP. Up until last year, I was down there every year during the summer since I was in High school. Not like living, but like 1 or 2 weekends a month. There wasn't 1 summer I didn't get a ticket for something! THe Cops down in seaside SUCK BIG TIME! Any 1 going down there after seeing this thread, just remember, Youve Been warned!

p.s Worst beach in NJ now. Belmar and Pt Pleasent are nice. Good night life. Ortly just up the road from seaside isn't bad either. Esp with that sweet Bar on the beach!

 

Yea, after i left i saw it again. They stared at me hard as i went WOT in 2nd spinning the tires .

 

I'm surprised no one mentioned Keansburg.

It used to be nothing but white trash but they cleaned it up ALOT and it's actually a pretty nice place to go to now, especially with family.

 

ahh the only thing i miss about NJ is seaside .. ahh the best boardwalk around.. and the best Pizza if you ask me
