ok NOW i think i can be annoyed!!!

yeah, i paid alot extra to get overnight shipping but when i checked my ups status on my package check out what it said...

Tracking Number: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Type: Package
Status: Billing Information Received
Shipped or Billed on: 05/21/2007
Service Type: GROUND
Weight: 2.00 Lbs

does that look like overnight shipping to any of you?

once again i am not saying the company i am dealing with since it could just be a misprint by ups or something but if i dont get my parts like i am suppose to tomorow i am going off on them. or do you guys think i should go ahead and start dragging their name in the mud now and get it out of the way?

well, since it says SHIPPED or billed on, it's very possible that it was... shipped?

your missing the point, i paid for it to be shipped overnight and ups lists it as being shipped by ground, so if its really being shipped by ground then the company charged me for overnight and pocketed the extra money.

Just e-mail them, be simple and civil, and if they dont work things out fairly, then you can drag em.

If you made a simple mistake, would you want someone to chew your ass out?

That is how my job is. I make simple mistakes I get hell for it. That is why i don't make stupid mistakes. That is the real world of work. Mistakes aren't acceptable. I get so sick of dealing with American companies and their shitty work ethic. The very fact that people think it is just a mistake and let them go must show that thier companies too don't care about a few mistakes here and there. We actually value our customers and thier hard earned money so as not to screw them around with our mistakes. In fact, if I made that mistake I would have called him in person and refunded the whole shipping after I caught it myself.

yup thats exactly what i did, plus i STILL havent say what company because if its not their fault i dont want to even start out to give them a bad rep, that wouldnt be fair. on the other hand if my part doesnt come tomorow it will be a different story.

i wish that more companys were like that. the funny thing is that getting the part tomorow is WAAAAYYY more important then the money, but rest assured if they screwed up my shipping they will pay.. and pay.. and pay....

naw it was injectors. but yeah you are right, i am going to give them till tomorow night before i go off on them, but honestly i think they checked and saw that i was in the same state as them and decided that they could ship ground and get it to me the next day and thought they could make some money that way.

Sometimes the Ground shipping takes 1 business day, if the company is in the midwest IN, OH, MI, Northern KY, IL it could very well get to Detroit in 1 day via ground

Used to work in shipping and receiving for a TRW supplier and UPS would on occassion mis-enter an overnight package...But that was years ago they now use bar-codes and the computer will know the differance between ground and RED (overnight) as HackAbuse recommended e-mail and ask Then request a refund for the shipping, could be a simple mistake by someone in shippng.

but they charged me for overnight, wouldn't you consider that a bit unethical? to charge me overnight but ship it ground figuring it will get there overnight anyway?

Just be glad you weren't around 20+ years ago when EVERYTHING you ordered was "4-6 weeks delivery".

Whatever happens, do not use the public boards to Vendor bash. Handle it with them directly.
