What else do you have done besides the spray? How long have you had the spray on it?

Any problems with your setup? I'm gessing no, cause you wanna step it up a bit. I'm gonna be getting some nitrous soon, just wondering how 'Balts on the bottle are treating people.

run a 150 and see how many rods you snap at once! lol j/k dont do that. bad plan..lots of down sides

a buddy of mine with a s/c balt knocks a 75 shot all day w/o problems. he has gone through 5-6 bottles.

2.8 and 75 maybe 20 pulls, I run like 14* timing with a 75 shot. I stick to a 50 shot most of the time.

I never ran the juice on my balt... made 296 whp on the stock setup alone. But a guy in FL made 393 whp and 331 wtq with a 2.7 ported blower and a 75 shot.

this is all great news! wish i could have tested it out last night. i drove 2-1/2 hours to the drag strip last night ready to spray my 65 shot and BAM, all of a sudden starts pouring rain. waited like 4 hours. they finaly started running abour 12:30. but they changed it from 1/4 mile to a 1/8th mile and the track was still wet. i made one pass and smoke em through 3rd gear. said f'k this and drove home.

Wow I only made 307 WHP with a 2.8 and a 75 shot. I must be doing something wrong.

Wow...I'm running a 2.9 with 109 octane and a 50 shot and I made 312 WHP...he must have magic nitrous and some magic pistons

I would be willing to bet that if you didn't watch him dyno...he's lying.

AND

If you did watch him dyno...well he is still lying.

393WHP = one run in one gear on stock pistons before you see one go shooting out of the bottom of his car

not exactly man.... what tune you have on your car.... Timing is everything on boosted cars with nitrous. if you can run 25 degrees thats gonna be a **** load more power than at 15-17 degrees (which is still high for a 75 shot on 17 psi) I also know the person for a while I see no reason for him to lie to me. but hey you can believe what you want.

on a side note 22,000 miles and still going strong

timing doesn't give you that much power. 5 degrees netted me 10 hp. So at the most 20 hp.

im going to mostlikely be strapping mine to a dyno next week with the 100 shot and 10:1 pistons if the car likes the 100 shot i might eat a 125 shot and see what kinda numbers i make

I admire your fearlessness. First you nuke the engine then you build it stronger, and then you give it more abuse

I think you will be ok with a 100 shot, just watch your timing take it slowly!

I agree Zin. Timing won't make that big of a difference...certainly not 70+WHP difference.

I am afraid it is that exact as it is a science. Tuning makes a difference bud, your right...but it isn't making you that much horsepower...sorry. If you think he actually is getting 393whp on stock internals, with a 2.7 pulley and 75 shot..I say to you..."believe what you want" and I will believe what I want, because I certainly don't believe that...and you will have a hell of a time convincing anyone else of it who has been around a motor for longer than 6 months.

Well honestly I know the dude from the internet... not totally convinced on his numbers myself, but he hasn't lied to me before, so I just accepted it.

now onto the motor part... I've been building motors for 12+ years now and do have an idea of what I'm doin. I've had stock internal motors put out a lot more then designed and usually had them last for a decent amount of time due to proper tuning. I see what you say about the 70+hp but also have to take into account the fact the guy lives like 10 ft above sea level compared to other elevations, plus temp plays a big factor on boosted cars. (dyno proven) I got an extra 20 whp out of my friends car on the dyno just by bumping up the timing 2 degrees (20-22) and leaned him out 1/2 a point. (went from 260 whp - 280.6 whp which the vid is up here somewhere)
