how is a rim specifically designed for drifting?

i'm looking at the motegi touge rims and was wondering how they are specifically designed for drifting? Are they just made stronger?

stronger lighter, and usually have a very deep dish to them and come staggered.... i just bought a set of "drift" rims b/c of all of that even thought im obcveously not drifting, they look nicer too.....if u were to drift with a more of a show rim ive seen a face seperate from rim lol, not much of a diff but there is some
