Well I just got around to checking my email and I got the invoice/window sticker for my car from my dealer. Everything is right, except for one thing. They got me f@$%ing Victory instead of Sport Tint Red! How the hell do you do that?

 

what!?! check and make sure you were were not charged the extra 300 that sport tint costs

 

I'd be flipping the **** out!

Well I would expect them to straighten that out before you get back home. I am sure they will firgue out that you are upset once you get a hold of them.

 

Hum, what time is it back in the states. Think around 10am in Washington. I'll give em a little time to see if I get a reply from my email and then call. But damn, how are they going to get another one in a week? Because that is when I'm suppose to be picking it up.

Car is sitting on their lot, Victory Red. Their running a search to try to find a Sport Tint Red with everything I want through out the surrounding states. Maybe I'll get lucky, cuz I don't see them getting one from the factory before I get home. If they don't, I guess I'll have to settle for Victory Red. I'ma haggle like a som'bitch though if thats the case, cause there is no way I'm paying full price for something different then what wanted.

Man I wouldnt even settle for that personally...they screwed up they should have to fix the problem within the time they promised. If not you better be well compesated for your pain and suffering

Yea, but there won't really be that many 'new' SS/SC left to choose from when my tour is fully over. If I can't get STR, Victory Red was my second choice.

 

Nah, I wouldn't settle for Victory Red man--I'd ****** the first Sport Red Tintcoat that comes your way with the options you want.

No bashing, it is just not what I wanted. Falls under the same thing if someone suddenly told you "Sorry man, they sent back slightly smaller turbos instead of larger ones. And unless you want to risk possibly not having any turbos at all you gotta use these."

 

If worst comes to worst, my dealer has one or two fully loaded 07's in the color you want. It is cross country though.

 

Copy that, my local dealership here in Layton, UT as two fully loaded sport red 07's.

 

That blows! Don't take it its that simple. MAKE them get you the car you want or go elsewhere.

 

Yea, I think I'm going to do that Jack. Its just I'm only going to be stateside for a couple weeks, then back here in Iraq until Oct/Nov time frame. I should be able to work it out with a power of attorney though.

 

my opionion is they did you a favor that color looks good and its the rarest balt....

 

tell them to paint it sport red tint at the dealer at no cost to you, if they cannot find one. its their fault they screwed up not yours.
