it just so happens that i have a free weekend and free friday night and im looking to possibly come out and visit you all again since i have been MIA for a while with shows ..this will probably be the last weekend for another month that i can make it out too...

No idea how long. Not even sure if we will end up in h-ton at all. Theres a debate between 64 Street Fighter or whatever its called and another place somewhere else on the island. I'll let you know when I know. Should be Friday lunch time or something.

Car goes into the dealer shop tomorrow morning. Hopefully the problems will be fixed that day. Then i'll be out on Friday night.

Try having to drive around construction sites all the time and having to park in a blue stone gravel lot for work. yeah...washing the car is a mute point for me.

I still have that coolant leak and my exhaust is rattling like hell and it sounds like i have a leak. Demodding and going into the shop in an hour. I need this shit fixed.

No clue. The coolant leak has been around for a while. It's a very slow leak, but it's there. And the exhaust thing just showed up this week. It's in the shop right now. No word yet.

probably hanger rotted and broke off putting a hole in the exhaust. Seen that on a few 05's though since they weren't braced until the 06 model year. either that, or your flex pipe on the dp is breaking.

I should still be going. I have to be at work by 6 AM tomorrow and then have to be in the field from lunchtime on and then will have a little (and very cute) tag along, so I will be there at some point, but who knows for how long. :lol:

Paul hopefully we can change whatever setting is causing the engine flutter at idle. BTW I have found out that sometimes my AC is on, despite the light being off. My AC is wierd. I was driving home Tuesday and it was 85 or so and the air was cold even though the AC was "off". I only noticed after the engine started its fluttering garbage. For such a power robbing accessory the AC sure don't help much :lol:

Car had to stay overnight at the shop. They had to order a new CAT for it and they are trying to find the coolant leak. I got a sweet Chevy Aveo rental though.

as of last night I know it was calling for t-storms tonight after 9, but we shall see. The car is done. I'm picking it up in a couple hours. They replaced the CAT and are still working on the coolant leak. I have to go back next week to pick up 2 new wheels.

Yeah your car was running like complete shit. All you heard were nasty grinding noises coming from the blower. Didn't sound good at all. It was suprising your car made what it did being that hurt. I thought your motor was done for sure on that last pull but luckily it held out.

yeah I couldn't believe that it didn't blow. Was running ok on the ride home though, but it's going into the backyard lab for a few weeks til all is well again

yep..thats y i have a radar detector...get one if ur gonna be at dpa all the time..its a good investment. oh yeah im gonna try to get there this friday...paul i mite have a new tune to try out. i have a guy im talking to on the forums that is a hptuner pro...he currently has a 2.4 hhr which im guessin is similar to the 2.4 cobalt...so he is gonna change up somethings...and also i found out that .18 hptuners has problems with doing data logs from wut he said...we shud have .17 on my laptop...better for the 2.4. ill let u know wuts goes down with this guy..and ill send u the file as soon as i get it bro. doesnt hurt to see what this guess sends me.
