These are quotes from Alldata on R&R cylinder head.

"Remove the cylinder head bolts in sequence and discard."

"Install NEW cylinder head bolts."

So yes they are 1 time use, torque to yield bolts.

Yeah, I would imagine they stretch so just replace them while it's all apart. You don't want to spin a bearing and ruin your crank, or worse that one lets go and you have nothing to salvage except your intake manifold (which is usually all you have left after a rod lets go).

That is for cylinder head bolts. He's asking about piston rod bolts.

Connecting rod bolts are one time use (torque to yield) bolts. Part number I think is 90537293. You'll need 8 of them.

all I know is I never reuse any bolts in an engine build regardless.... even when I use ARP studs, always buy new.
and ARP doesn't techinally make a rod bolt for us, but there is one that does work, but don't remember the part # off hand

The Eagle 2.2 rods come with ARP studs, are those the same ones that are usable in the LSJ rods? There isn't an application listing for either.

bump, still interested in a part number, i know if i sent arp a rod bolt they could custom make them, its just they make so many fasteners i find it hard to believe they don't make something that will fit.
