I know you mentioned you're thinking of a different brand than Pirelli, but just FYI - I picked up 3 PZero Nero MS's (long story on why I only got 3) shipped from TireRack.com for just over $400... i like em... I figured multi-season's would work much better than summer tires here in SE MN - and they did alright last winter. Hope that helps, whether Pirelli or some other brand, perhaps look into some MS tires

TIRE RACK FTW!!! I am going to get Kumho SPT's, bang for the buck... a great tire (had them on my R/T and liked em better than the Yokohama ES 100's)

I hate all-season tires, they are the ultimate compromise and do NOTHING well
you're up there and you drive w/o snows? I have snows on 17's and the SC goes through snow like a 4x4

Tire Rack

I agree - the tires I got were about $125/pc and S/H was only like $38...

re: no snow tires...
that's what the AWD vehicle is for - I didn't drive the car everyday in winter (City of Winona doesn't plow - they just pour MASSIVE amounts of salt on the roads ), but when I had to - the MS's seemed to do alright
