no brakes arent almost done,but the front are starting to sqeek a little,but they still do there job and since the hps go for about 90 bux just the front pads,i figuered ill buy both and have them when the stockers go out..

You do not have to .... but it is beneficial to do so to get the maximum braking potential of the pads. There are dirrections on the packaging and on the Hawk website.

What it consists of is simply doing a couple of of 80+ to zero runs and than letting the pads sit for a couple of hours afterwards...basically...;)

these pads are great. high performance with not a lot of squeak. the only time they really squeak is when your'e backing up or when the brakes are really cold.

mine squeak a LOT through the canyons --lot of sharp, high-speed corners..but that's understandable at those velocities even for race pads. I still say Hawk HPS are the shizz. :)

Base models do not have all around disc brakes. I tried to get them and it is not even an option for the base. Mostly just the SS models have all disc brakes but some LT models have them as well. All others have front disc and rear drum

Yes...this gb is only available if you have 4 disc brakes. front and back.

I already have these pads, and I will highly reccommend them to anyone. They are a great improvement to your stock brake system, better power with no noise for me and less dust.

Actually, I get a little squeal from the rears after I have been driving hard and they are hot, but I blame that on the stock rotors. My front GMPP ones are silent.

we do not use the Google checkout to track this. and unfortunately we can't track it because it was sent through USPS. It has been a while though.....hmmm....I am concerned that it did not make customs or something and its on its way back.

USPS tracking #'s don't work for us canadians. It was probably held up at the border, when you order anything from the states, esepecialy by USPS it can take 2-4 weeks to arrive.

I've ordered a lot from the States before, with USPS and never took this long...I'll give it a few more days.
