It was a freakin cinch! Very very easy. I had a buddy help, and he said it was one of the smoothest exhaust installs he has ever seen. Yeah, I'll give you a hand, and drink your beer! I am gonna put a 2.9" pulley on soon, before I go to RPM to get my tune. So maybe we can do the pulley, your exhaust, and Ricky has a h/e he has been wanting to do. Either way though, just let me know when you wanna put atleast your exhaust on, cause it is literally under an hour, and closer to 30 min install time..

And dear god does my exhaust sound hot! I did a few WOT pulls up to 135, and the exhaust and S/C noise sounds sooo good together. You'll love it.

Just let me know, Sunday's are good car-work days for me..

I put mine on about a week ago, have you had any leaking? I've noticed a leak around every single clamp, even after tightening them back up after getting it hot...

I'm planning on getting it welded together and be done with it, the little things like this frustrate me beyond belief.

Ya know, I havn't really checked yet, but I do plan on doing a thorough inspection tomorrow. The exhaust is definately louder than I anticipated, but I really can't tell if there is leak till I get used to a performance exhaust and do my inspection..

When are you going to RPM for your tune? I can meet you up there, and get my new numbers I've been wanting to get.

Update...

Definately leakes around 2 of the clamps. I tightened it down today after heating it up alot(may WOT pulls), but I think it is still leaking. I will try and tighten it again after another WOT session, but i think I may try your idea and weld it when I can find a place to do so..

Still sounds mean as hell, but quite loud do to the leaks..

Yeah sounds good but the leaks are bothering me... I haven't got it welded yet, but plan on it within the next week or so.

Hey how much does RPM charge for a tune? Beerman told me about them once before and I still havent changed the GM Stage 2 tune...I too have exhaust leaks....and since I have no lift access right now (between shops/ jobs) I cant fix my leaks.....Once, I fix them...I'm definately down to go talk to them...maybe I should just take my new exhaust gaskets there and tey'll fix the leak before the tune....either way, let me know some prices if you can.....I've heard nothing but good things about RPM both on here and from a couple people I know from my old shop..........

I'm not positive, but I think it is gonna be $350. I payed 100 when we put it up on the dyno to see why i was having issues, and then when i come back for the actual tune, he said i can apply that 100 towards the price. They seem to have a pretty good operation out there, and Ryan seemed like a nice guy. He was patient with me since I don't know much about tuning, and definately knew what he was talking about. I have complete faith that I will get a great tune from them.

P.S. Ryan told me he thinks he can get 20-30hp from the tune. He said my stage 2 tune was one of the sloppiest tunes he has seen in a while.

Thanks GM!

I have an appointement for the 24th to go in. He said it will take 3-4 hours. Anyone want to come along and see some numbers, and perhaps tune also, let me know..

**** Corsa! You sons of bitches!

My resonater is fucked up. It has something rattling around in it. I recently took it to a shop to have my clamps tightend up by an air gun, since it leakes around 2 different clamps. At fist I thought the rattling I heard was the system hitting the heat shield, but after we put it on the lift, we moved the resonator around, and you can hear somehting in it. The tech said maybe a baffle? I dont know what that is, but either way i'm ******* livid. I spent 700 bucks on this thing, and it leakes, and has a busted resonator. GRRRRRR!!!

So now, im gonna have to push back my tune session, since i will probably have to mail the resonator away, and wait for them to send me a new one....

I guess I'll try contacting corsa to see what they will do, if anything. Keep me updated as to your progress as well

Update...

I talked to corsa, and they are going to send me another resonator, and i send them the defective one back, and if it truley is defective, then they wont charge my card. But if it is something else, then i have to pay for another resonator.

I have more details then that, and i literally still am in the process of doing it as i post this, but i am somewhat confident this will be resolved..
