SS rim maintanence..Help!

I have the stock ss (non sc) rims on my cobalt, over the first week of use, i have noticed a lot of gump and break residue gather on the inside of the front two rims, it looks ugly needless to say.

I went out to a local superstore (canadian tire) and bought some armor all rim cleanser. Its a spray type applicant. So i was wondering has anyone tried the rim cleanser by armor all on their ss rims?? If so was there any kind of wierd marks left behind after applying this stuff to clean the rims

Any suggestions on different rim cleansers or techniques would be greatly appreciated as well? I just hate seeing all this black stuff all over my rims..loooks ugly.

Yeah that's break dust! Nasty stuff indeed. Rim cleaners work well, put it on, let it soak. Then maybe use some soap and water and a nice soft spongue to scrub it off.

I use a cleaner called Simple Green, it breaks down grease and brake dust very well. Then I use a sponge and soapy water, then rinse.
