Here are some of the worst pics you will ever see me take but I just wanted to snap a few before my car got dusty . I spent alittle over 3 hours doing this detail and plan on doing my friends black SS/SC tomorrow. Nothing special was done really,Clean wheels using a mit for just the wheels, Hand wash using blue coral soap/ dry with waterblade and micro fibre towls/ Dry out all door, trunk, and hood jams/ Let car sit for 30 min to cool/ Apply coat of meguiars step 2 paint polish/ Polish off/ Apply first coat of meguiars step 3 wax/ Polish off/ Apply second coat of meguiars wax/ Polish off. Apply wax to the wheels/ Polish off. Take pics

I still can't get passed the 07's not having the super big wing, I think it was the cars trademark, Looks great though, love the shiney wheels, Blue was my second choice, Get a lower grill to save your intercooler some from some damage.

 

some of the 07's do! at the hot rod power tour, they had a tint coat red high rise, first ive ever seen

Yea it is a bit of a sleeper! And I thought it was going to rain but it all stayed south WOO HOO!!!

Nope no orbital used, I just did everything by hand.

I am obsessive complusive about my paint jobs so this is how my car looks 95% of the time .

im pickin up my 07 laser blue w/ high rise spoiler on saturday. and there is a sport tint coat on the lot w. high rise too

 

I know everyone says you cant really mess anything up with one but I always think I will. One day I will get one tho!

just dont step up to a high speed one and its pretty hard to **** something up. goodbye to ever getting swirls with one

 

Where can I get an orbital?

 

for a decent one go to any autoparts store, or even home depot. if you really want to step up your game do some research on the various detailing forums and then invest in a high dollar setup

 

Thanks for all the help hatrickstu! id give you more rep but it wont let me. My last car was black and I dont think anything will ever compare to how hard it was to clean that. I really should have had a orbital for .I dont think I have any swirl marks at all right now but if my winter beater dies before winter then I surely will have swirls on the balt. Winter here sucks for a car!!
