Does anyone on here have the Carbon Fiber hood on a black Cobalt SS S/C Please post a picture i'm trying to see how it looks Thanks.

 

Honestly, it will not improve power by anything you can feel. Maybe like 1 or 2hp differance. CF hood is more for looks and weight issues.

you already got your answer! won't do anything for power. but it saves a lot of weight.

 

definatly a weight reduction, wont increase power, just like Rallyss said not noticable, definatly looks cool though!!

That looks nice thanx alot an0malous. I was thinking of getting the carbon fiber just didnt know how it would look with black didnt want it to stand out to much.

that hood is dec. i think JASE has that hood,check out his vbgarage for some pics. there is somone one here with the hood i want! i donno how to explain, its just got one intake. it looks ****** mean. alsmot looks like a ram air hood off of a newer camaro but those have the two 'nostrils' , this one only has 1.

 

Mine is the 'SS' style hood, but I forgot where I ordered it from--got it about a year ago. Between that and the trunk without wing, I've noticed a weight and handling difference. That stock trunk with wing is HEAVY!!

Its a VIS hood and Trunk lid.

GOD I hate hood pins..takes away from the clean look!

 

I know man anomalous and I both didnt want to but the way the hood sits and wobbles its not worth losing the big investment off the car lol

I went with the deftracing hood pins.. which are black so you cant see them much

 

i wouldnt mind the pins it also makes people think you have some crazy **** under the hood lol
