Lowering Springs
Lowering Springs
What is the best springs for the ls? I am gettin a body kit and i do not want it to be to low so should i get some stock ss/sc springs or some aftermarket ones?
I would figure out how low you want to really be.
Lots of people get the SS/SC Springs.
If you are going to get the SS/SC springs, make sure you get the struts that comes with them.
The key is not only to have a good lowered look but to have a very balanced and supported drop height as far as absorbing. When you hit a bump, you don't want your struts to bottom out which will happen if you just put springs on without changing your shock absorbing system.
If you decide to go aftermarket, look into the Koni Struts, they are now available for the Deltas. Eibach makes a Pro-Kit which is a nice lowering height but nothing too aggressively low.
Also think about how you will be able to drive around with being low and a body kit. I've been there with Sportlines (which are lower than the pro-kit) and it was a little hassle going in drive ways and entering parking lots. Just got to be careful.
