yea i went outside and the kids were just standing there! i had no idea how they got out. these were kids i ran track with in highschool i was friendly with them so i couldnt get too mad. i have a feeling the driver was high. but i dunno for sure. he was taken off in a new charger cop car...

but the one kid had a cut on his finger. other than that everyone was ok. my cars were just parked outside my house. im just in such shock i dunno what to think. im kinda hopin its totaled, but im sure you guys might know more. but im pretty sure it doesnt look like it would be totaled. if it is, who wants dibs on the intake and exhaust lol

Id say its totalled, I broke my Left front spindle knuckle in my last rally race, and i took it to the dealer for repairs (dumb idea) and they tried to say i totalled my car and it definately didnt look like yours when i gave it to them. Good Luck my friend I hope everything turns out ok.

doesnt look totalled...busted radiator, ac condenser, obviously front bumper..and maybe a few other parts in the front end...but it doesnt look like the damage went far back enough to reach the engine or down low enough to bend the frame

Damn, I would of come outside the house with the shotgun. Not one, but two of your cars hit at once.

The hood actually absorbed the impact very well. It doesn't look like much damage, if any, occurred inside the engine bay. I would use this opportunity to put the insurance money towards a new hood and projector headlights. Possibly an SS/SC front bumper. It really sucks that this happened, but take advantage of the situation. You're getting free labor and the cost of the stock parts towards putting aftermarket stuff on...

Dude... sorry to hear about that. Definitely not totalled tho. My car had twice the visual damage than that and my suspension snapped like a twig and it wasn't totalled. Get all the money out of those bastards.

a busted SOM Cobalt is a sad sad sight

That is totally not a write off especially considering how the hood looks. I would be shocked if the insurance didn't pay to get it fixed. Unless you were parked somewhere you shouldn't be or if the kids have no insurance.

Now if they do write the car off. Find out how much the insurance wants for it. Where you at again?
