when my Integra GSR was stolen, my best friend's GSR was parked next to it with handprints all over the windows...not fingerprints.. HANDprints. You really can't get any better than that. The local fuzz said they weren't going to do it because the process was 'too expensive'. Cops here are worthless.

Dude, that sucks. I hear you on the parking 10 miles away too. But honestly, I've learned that the more you single your car out from everyone else's, the more **** gets done to it. People are like, "look at that car that tried to park away from everyone else thinking nothing was going to get done to it, let's go **** it up".

I hate to say it, but the cops really are not going to do SFA about your car being scratched. As much as it pisses you off, the cops probably have better stuff to do than deal with property crimes.

My 87 Monte Carlo SS was broken into so I called the cops and I filled out a report, etc etc. I think they do that just to let you feel like they are going to do something about it. In the end I heard nothing. All it equated to was a bill for me as they punched the drivers side door lock out, damaged my steering column, and also fucked up the area around my heater controls in an effort to jack the stereo.

Sorry to hear about the bad luck though...trust me I know it sucks ass. Could it have even been the corner of a shopping cart that hit your car? You never know. A lot of people really don't give a **** in a parking lot.

i dont think it was something that hit my car because A: its nigh, it would have hit the flair of the fender first, and B: it wouldnt explain the handprint.

Ok back to work (at lunch) so i can sit at my desk and sulk.

Even if there was a handprint, they cant prove anything and unless they have had a past criminal record they would never find out

Plus if you file a police report when or if you call your insurance they may not raise your premium the next yr.

thats cucks, i know how you feel ive gotten keyed like twice or so now and had a rock hit my driver door. i had bought vinyls that i had on to cover them up but got tired of the rice consideration so i ripped them off. but you guys are talking about police not doing there jobs, lol they are horrible around here. i had a 2000 R1 that i dropped insurance on cuz i was taking it off the road or possibly trading it in, anyway some dickbag stole it and the cops didnt do a damn thing about it. they never searched anywhere or anything just took the info and called it in. i told them like 3-4 places where it would be cuz i know who stole it. but they didnt care cuz i didnt have the proof. now a year later they kid i accused of it had the bike only polished and blue not red. so he wrecks it and all then his friend tells me he has two. hmm wtf. all of a sudden as soon as he wrecks it he has another, yea right. anyway sorry about the rant just pisses me off. but yea man sorry about your car, look on the bright side its only the fender. isurance should cover it.

Well i wasnt like parked in the next town or any thing but far out enought were there was at least a copule spots between most of the cars. Not the noes bleed section but the cheap seats, if you konw what i mean.

Well after further examination. it looks like only one of the scratches actually got past the paint and the other little ones will most likly buff out (praying) so thats good. Now i just need time and money to fix this bitch.

Thanks yall.

Sucks. Everytime I see a car that's double parked or parked far away, I think to myself, somebody going to key it.
