Went to the strip tonight in my Si Sedan saw a bunch of SS/SC from Domestic Disturbance there tonight. Got to run a stock SS/SC. He got me by a bit he ran a 14.81 and I ran a 14.96. Hopefully with some tires that arent all season pieces of crap I can do a little better.

 

what all do you have done to car as far as performance mods?

 

Intake and exhaust so nothing that really does anything. If I had some better tires and got my 60' down a little I would have been closer to a 14.5. I also order the Ingall's TD for my car so I am hoping that will eliminate some of the wheel hop. Richmond is a really crappy track and this was the first time I have ever run. 14.9 was my goal and I got it on my last pass. The worst pass was a 15.4 with a 2.5 60'.

 

HAHA yea that was me you ran . It was only my second race at a track, I was nervous as hell. I plan on going a lot more often so I can become better. C&D said stock S/C should be 14.5, so that is what I was shooting for. Gotta get better at launching. But good race man.

 

Haha C&D says my car should only run like a 15.4 or something, It was def a fun night.

 

True true, I just wish we coulda got there earlier. If I had more runs I think I coulda gotta better time. Deff the most fun I've had in a while...must do it again

well I plan to have my stage 2 stuff in within the next couple of weeks, then I will deff be at the track the next Fri they have open racing or watever you call it. But in any case I will see you at the 8/5 meet.

 

ill be out there my fastest time off of spray in the 1/8th is 8.76 no traction.. that will all change cuz my d.o.t. slicks are on the way
