Ss Vs Srt-4 *video*

Well, I finally got my vid cam and called up Jay. Some of you might remember I raced him when he first got his car (were talking 2 hours haha) and raped him (wasn't on video) because he couldn't drive the SRT-4 for crap. Well, he can drive now LOL. It was a big learning experience for me. W/ the K&N intake...I pretty much spun the tires from a dig from basically off idle (1000k-ish)..which sucked big-time. The other thing is when I shifted into 2nd, the wheel hop bogs down the car BIG time, and it has to play catch up to get back into the top of the power-band...I dunno if a torque brace would cure it or I need to save up for LSD but it sucks hehe. But anyway, It's a BIG file...so 56kers...sorry:

Yeah, good ol Movie Maker lol.

OniMirage- I didn't powershift or speed shift at all in the races, in the third run I pretty much "eased" it into 2nd. It's pretty much worthless for me right now trying to speed shift or powershift as whenever I hit 2nd, it bogs down because of the wheel hop.

I enjoyed the vid! It's great to see two different car owners getting along after a race and know that it's all in fun and enjoyment.

Nice Vid, I think torque braces would help out but shifting from first to second will get some tire spin. Well thats what I used to get, now all I get is wheel hop

Excellent vid bro!!! This finally settles the age old question of which car is faster from a roll and dig. But I still think we'll own it on an Auto-X course.

I think the only thing that was settled by the video was the fact that the driver is 90% when it's SRT-4 VS SS/SC.

For some reason when I played the video it was very choppy but I could still tell that there was way to much wheelspin of the line and into 2nd.

Get the brace and or poly engine mount inserts and forget about the LSD. I just checked with the dealership today on the LSD for our cars and they are going for $2,300. For just the part that is, no install included. Can we say...price gouging. Plus the LSD won't solve wheel hop, the only thing that's going to correct wheel hop is solidifying the motor on it's mounts.

Good vid man.

You are most likely correct in your conclusions, but I have to say that that my car is equipped with the LSD and the only wheel hop I get is when the pavement is a little wet. Other than that, I get no wheel hop in first or second and that's with aggressive shiftng from first to second as well. Not saying the LSD is the reason, but maybe it does help the problem to some degree??

I have the LSD as well and only get wheel hop when the ground is wet or poorly paved.
