No, totally different bumpers. The 2.4 is one piece and the 2.0 is two pieces and the bottom of the 2.4 is totally different.

Funny, I've read many a thread here where people state that the SS/NA bumpers are identical to the SC bumpers, only that the NA ones lack the pre-cut holes for the SC lips.

 

for the front, that may be true.

actually, it seems to me that some of the 2.4s have the tabs for the lip in the front and others do not...

but, the back is totally different... if you look, the SC has a split rear grille with a lip under it.

the 2.4 has a gray plastic real grille that makes its own lip... oh yeah, and the 2.4 rear is attractive.

 

maybe you should look at the two.. might help a bit.

ok so... is the 2.0l ss/sc rear bumper minus the lip the same as any other cobalt rear bumper? or no?

minus the lip and slots to mount it, I think.

no, they are different

the 2.0l without the lip is not the same as "any other cobalt" at all.

2.2l has its own front/rear bumpers
2.4l has it's own rear, but same front as 2.0l
2.0l has it's own rear, but same front as 2.4l

just buy the back bumper..go to a local junkyard or sumthing the back lip is hot i rather have that than the front lip

 

well i already have the front lip.. its almost done gettin painted.. its primed right now..

so i just need the back to complete it.


ill prolly just get performance mods before i buy the rear bumper.

Give me a pic of your car, I'm trying to do EXACTLY everything youre doing dbss88. SS/SC bumpers, rims, wing, etc. Stock SS/SC body kit is just so amazing IMO.

when the lip was being fitted before we took it to get stripped... its primed at the moment and should be on the car very soon.

Heh I also beat a Lexus SC430 (my stepdads car) yesterday lol. He was pissed and kept saying every time I shifted my car like jumped forward and passed him. Ok so I found 2 bumpers on several websites that appear to be the same exact thing. But one claims to be the 2.0L bumper cover and the other says its a 2.4L bumper cover yet there is about an $80 price difference and they look EXACTLY the same. I want to be careful before I buy the wrong one. I want the one thats the 2.4L bumper cover WITH tabs so I can later put on the lip.

 

but... the 2.0l is according to what others are saying different than the 2.4l bumper

jeez....ALL front bumpers are interchangable if you take them completely off(Same holes for the tabs) NONE of the rear bumpers are interchangeable, the 2.0 is different than the 2.4, the 2.2 is different than the 2.4 and the 2.0 is different than the 2.2...although if you drill holes in the 2.2 they say you can fit the SS/SC rear valance on there...
