Fujita vs. K&N CAI

Just wondering what everyone thinks...
I've been a die hard fan of K&N forever and I have always had great results with their products...After comparing the dyno results however the Fujita claims better results...Just wondering what everyone else thought before I make a purchase...thanks

Well nobody has really compared the two yet. I say save the money and grab the K&N from modernperformance.

Both are too new to tell. Looks like the K and N has a smaller intake tube, I am not sure if this is directly correlated to the larger powerband or not, on the Fujita or not. Eh whats the difference in price a few quid, go for whatever one you want, heck you get a hat and a duffle bag with the Fujita lol.

dyno comparission would be useless unless done on the same car , and in the same conditions for each test

or the #'s will not be correct

OK someone buy both of these right now and have them overnighted. I expect dyno graphs of both installed by tuesday so we can have a fair comparison. Same car same dyno same day.

DO IT NOW!

I noticed from the Fujita website .. there warranty was telling about how they recomend taking of the CAI in very wet conditions and things like that so I was wandering if you think its pretty much the same thing for any other CAI or if others just are build better for such weather conditions...

"WARRANTY
Fujita Air warrants the product for replacement or repair of parts and/or workmanship for a period of ten years. Polishing is not warranted and will require touchup.
These warranties are made exclusively to the original customer presenting proof of purchase. These warranties do not include wear and tear or damages caused by misuse or abuse.
Fujita Air does not assume any liability for damages to the engine due to water entering the motor through the intake system. Fujita Air recommends the removal of the air intake system during any wet conditions. Some parts maybe used for off-road vehicle use only and may never be used on a California road or highway. "

It seems pretty normal. They are just being cautious.

Say there is a 4 whp difference between the two intakes...with the fujita coming out on top. But, you buy the K&N. Now you have $100+ extra dollars that you saved from buying the cheaper intake to spend on more go-fast goodies. The Fujita is priced way too high, buy the K&N.

You can get the Fujita from ptuning with the rebate for about $308.00, it will be good until the end of this month.

I still cant seem to believe that you can get a 25 hp gain from a CAI system what makes that fujita intake put out that much power?

bigger intake pipe, more filter to suck up air, i cant really explain it, but the top of the filter has filter material to suck in air thru the top and provide a straight flow of air thru the MAF
