Search through the nitrous section. It will answer all your questions about it. =P

never hurts to upgrade your valvetrain either=running a bigger shot.

stay at a 55shot or below, and yah....all you need is the kit.
and maybe consider some 2 or at least 1 step colder spark plugs.

arent the headers made of plastic? Should someone
change them first??

your header is not plastic(i believe), your intake manifold is. Either way you should not have any detonation in your intake manifold/header therefore there would be no reason to change it.

and is this the kit id want?

NOS Nitrous Wet Kit -

We know that superchargers create a lot of horsepower. But at the same time, they also create unwanted heat. One of the greatest benefits of an NOS system is the “intercooler effect.” The nitrous is injected at -127°F(below zero), and, as it mixes with incoming air, intake temperatures can drop by as much as 75°F. This results in a more dense intake charge. What’s more, the nitrous and extra fuel can provide a 30 - 40% increase in HP and torque. This kit comes with jetting for 40 - 75 HP, comes with 10lb bottle, and all necessary hardware

Cobaltperformanceparts.com has a Zex wet kit 55-75 shot for $509.99 that I am thinking about getting. Read up on the Zex!!!

Better yet...Here it is off of Cobaltperformanceparts.com, also you will want to go 2 steps colder, thats the route im going to go.

Zex Wet Nitrous Kit 50-75hp For fuel injection
$509.99
A complete "Wet" nitrous system. Everything is included for a safe, proper installation.

• Designed to work safely on stock type engines, but is also engineered to perform flawlessly on highly modified turbocharged and supercharged combinations. The ideal nitrous system for any fuel injected vehicle.

• All major components are factory pre-assembled inside the "Nitrous Management Unit". Easy, plug and play, two-hour installation.

• ZEX Nitrous Systems have an advanced, patented feature called "Active Fuel Control". This feature monitors nitrous bottle pressure and adds or subtracts enrichment fuel so the engine never runs too rich, or too lean, when you engage the nitrous system.

• ZEX "Wet" nitrous systems activate at wide-open throttle using advanced electronics that monitor your engine's throttle position sensor. This makes using your nitrous system very easy and reliable.

Sorry to hijack thread. But I'm also onto this. I need help.

Hey, guys I got a question.

I have a 2.0L ss/sc. I'm planning to install a stage 2 upgrade and dual-pass endplate. Also, I'll be installing a nitrous system. My question is, in order to install a wet-kit nitrous system, do we need a return-fuel system? That's what I've been told but still I would like second opinions.

Can I go with a dry-kit and a return-less fuel system?

I hear the Zex kit has a problem with the window switch and some of the miscellaneous things however the kit is supposed to be pretty good on the whole

I'm pretty sure that running a dry kit would be bad on an LSj motor i don't remember... I'm also not positive about return fuel system but i'm pretty sure you don't have to ...

Can't understand that jibberish but plenty have run on the stock plastic manifold and have been fine. If it worrys you that much i believe one of the saab ecotecs use a metal intake manifold. You should be fine on a 75, 2.2's run that big all the time and we have stronger internals. Make sure you read up on it more first before you start diving into it, the more knowledge and understanding you have on n2o the better off you'll be.

No, you can run a wet shot on the LSJ. Just hook the fuel feed line to the bleeder port on the fuel line above the rail, after you remove the schrader valve. That'll give you your fuel supply. The pump in these cars flows more than enough to supply 42lb injectors and a 50 shot.
