i think it was the civic... the balt should be in the high end of 3rd at the end of the quarter mile... atleast that me.. im normly 6 grand going into 4th.... btw talk toss tuner about boost shifting... he can squack them everygear about
I just re-listened.
there was not even a peep of blower in that vid.
and considering the intake of the cobalt was on the camera side,
i think a 2.4 with high rise.
and if your squeeking them into 3rd, you need to tell your track to do a better job.
a little 250-300hp cobalt chirping 3rd gear?
thats terrible track prep.

I argue on every post?
seriously?
FWD will spin tires so much easier than RWD, or AWD.
on the street its very easy to break them loose at will.
and AWD: i just went to the track last night and powershifted every run. It didnt chirp once. and my tires are 50% worn.
Track prep has alot to do with it.

*pssst* Chirping is spinning.
just means the track has enough decent hook to grab after it initially breaks loose.
And i should have known better than to have any kind of discussion with you, because your only form of argument is to use personal attacks instead of just debate things.
Later guys.

wow some of you guys have absolutely no knowledge about racing, track prep, or "good shifting." the reason anomalous disagrees with alot of the **** posted on here is because most of the **** posted is so incredibly stupid it makes my head hurt. half the time i dont even want to conjur up the brain cells to try and reply. he is kind of enough to actually try and help you guys figure out what is wrong/right with stuff posted, so get off his ass.
im gonna say its driver.bad track prep would sond like this

it wasnt the cobalt i looked at the dudes myspace who owns the car, it didnt do it in 2 other runs so im guessing it was the civic.. btw it was supercharged.. check it http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...endid=22959880
thats really strange that you cant even hear a hint of the blower in the vid.
I dont deny that its s/c, obviously he has to have a stock intake system, but youd think youd still hear it a little.
considering its the closer car, on the intake side...

Which ever car had the loud exhaust was chirpin. I know I can chirp 'em into third on my dads BONE STOCK '06 Ion sedan while WOT shifting, so even gutless cars can do it with a fast enough shift.
