white clouds = coolant leaking into a piston chamber. maybe intake or head gasket.

Usually that's the last thing that happens. o2 sensor doesn't know what to tell the car when it's not able to convert the gas vapor and in the end it just plumbs it out like a smoke stack.

99% of the time GM just replaces them. I had like 6 before I finally straight piped. I'm going to tell you though that the GM Stage tune is stupid rich for fuel and it will continue to plug until you do something about it whether you tune it better for leaner conditions or you replace with a highflow. Even a high flow won't really fix it.

Suggestion: Straight pipe the bitch and call it a day. I will also suggest gapping your plugs to .35 or .32 if you can. If you have a .40 gap right now, get rid of it. It's not helping you. I would also replace your plugs if you haven't done it yet. The stock NGK's GM give you are utter crap.

Just a hint, GM warranties the Cataylst Converter 8 years, 80,000 miles. They might charge for install but usually they will cover it. Do you have an extended warranty?

They covered mine and I'm in 60,000 mile land right now.

I cannot find what your looking for besides the GM Canada website. I know my dealership covers the Cataylst Converter per GM for 8 yr/80,000 Miles. If you need proof of this you can contact my dealership @ 586-939-7300. Ask for Jason Craiger in service. He can get this in writing for you. Tell him Mr. Cobalt sent you.

I paid 2,000 for it when I bought it with the car. It's good to 75,000 miles. I am rethinking if I want to renew it or not. Not really had any issues with the car after 45,000 miles.
