Not that I'm a fan of the stickers on that car... but watch what cars you're leaving notes on. Look up a ZPI Turbo TC and you'll see Scions that run 11's and put down around 300whp. They're not much to worry about when stock... but a few grand will make that TC faster than 95% of the Cobalts on this site.

 

yep zpi's owner in louisville has a huge intercooler out the front end and from what i understand is it moves

 

I've run a turbo tC... 9PSI intercooled... he put up a pretty good fight down low... but once I hit 4th gear I was walking away top-end.

No doubt there are some tough ones out there... but the odds of running into one on the streets are minimal.

the s/c'd scion is pathetic. i blew the doors off of one when i had a cai, and my 2.9" pulley. (no injectors, no tune ) - i have them now, but at the time they were just sitting in my garage, un-installed

it's true, S/C'd TC's are *****, but the turbo ones are no joke! I kinda like the turbo ones.

 

cai+2.9" pulley=$300= s/c scion ownage.. you might even be able to beat them stock.. i thought it was really slow.. i think he ran a 15.1 or 15.0

the trd supercharger is a joke..... pulley or not.. it is flat out a total joke.. ask any scion owner.. a majority of them will agree to that....


there turbo like stg 2 is a baller car... a majority of the stg 2 drivers are looking at close to 280 hp.. from what my friend.. a " scion owner" told me... like other people have stated a stg 2 scion scion is few and far....

 

yeah.... uh... maybe i need to bring my scion friend over and let him tell you about how ghey his trd supercharger is and how no matter how he tunes it/ pulley change he cant get past 229 hp....

and thats why he is stripping the car of that pos and turbo ing it...

 

i see it as a cool lookin car with lots of potential. looks wise. im not sure about speed and such. i shoot for "show" before "go." but anyways i doubt it has the HP to really prove itself. they're cool lookin cars though. you gotta agree with me there. hopefully. my sister just bought a fully loaded one and spent almost 2K on the 18" wheels. lame. i'dd rather have the XB. i'm a show car person though. i hate the track. to each their own. ya know?

 

Where was this car from? if it was from northern cali or oregon it probably has been to the UNITED STATES famous torque freaks shop that is in portland, oregon. That shops produces some of the fastest rides around. you guys should check out the website. I think that they might have some pictures of their work. Im personnaly probably going to be taking my car there to get it tuned after i purchase the intense stage 4 or 5.
