You should get it dynoed before the intake, and after the Flu-Jita installed ...

Sucks you cant find a dyno. It really depends on the dealership when it comes to installing the stage 2 yourself and voiding the warranty. Ask when you get the flash there.

wow, thats all? seems like our cars are really over rated, if i went by what aftermarket claims for my parts i would add up to 270 ish but im probably a few under you

^^^ Our cars are under-rated from factory. Parts MFG WAY over-rate what thier parts can actually give you. Don't be fooled by thier numbers.

well, keep in mind that quoted HP numbers are for that part only, you can't really just add the numbers together - for example if you add exhaust and a header, dont add the projected HP numbers together - probably taking the average is closer to reality

true. however in aja342's case shouldnt he be at like 236 hp with the stage 2 kit alone? i understand theres much variables that factor this that i dont understand but it makes no sense, some ppl are dyno'ing stock with like 220 and some barely break that modded, seems like its luck of the draw when you buy a cobalt

w/ a 2.85, full exhaust, an intake, PLUS a good custom tune, you can get alot more power out of it.

its much more to do with the dyno, than luck of the draw with cobalts
every dyno is different.
you can take a stock cobalt to 2 different dynos. one might say 195....next one might say 220.

its just a number.
it only means something when its RELATIVE to another run done on the SAME dyno, with different mods.

Then you have a valid comparison of HP gain.

other than that....its a broad ballpark figure.

i dont know much about dynoes, so i take it there not the most accurate for numbers, just more of a guide to see power improvements while tuning

the numbers are accurate...but only relative to itself.

Not compared to other dynos.

Most of the cars that dynoed the same day as me were putting out numbers lower than what they "normaly" do. Still my numbers come out at over 265hp at the crank. I was a lil dissapointed but still well within the tolerence of where I should be.

I just recently dynoed my car with GM stg 2 , 2.85 pulley , intake , and GM exhaust . I only got to do 1 dyno pull due to the owner have to leave .

My car dynoed 247 whp on the first and only pull.

You should be close to around 250 hp. I made 241 hp and 229 lb/ft with a stage 2 and K&N typhoon intake. Youhave basically both of those mods, with cat-back exhaust and a 2.85 pulley. You shouldn't havea problem getting 245-255. You may even see higher than that

i have dynoed anywhere from 228 to 275 fwhp. depends on the map file i have loaded in the car at that time.
on a perfect day, you should be, or might be around 240? give or take a few

look at my sig for my WHP and my mods almost the same, just different brands which will effect your numbers.
