I thought the wrap around the filter kept water out? If water touches your MAF sensor what needs to be done?

Just dry out your MAF and you will be fine.

How much water can the drycharger really keep out anyway?

Its winter, I have stock air cleaner in now, I got this code with stage 2 once and awhile but now I can reproduce it at will with the 2.79 pully. So will HPTuners fix this up easily?

everyone get the latest reflash if you are not stage 2 and it should correct this condition. the dealership will do this under warranty.

while the lean code for intakes is generally nothing serious...usually oil on the maf....
I would be a little more concerned about getting a lean code when your running a 2.79 pully.....
in that case you truely could be leaning out.

Do you have A/F monitoring or knock monitoring?

well #1 i dont rev the car beyond 6200rpm with the pulley. I know I need a tune.
#2 the code I get is not a lean code. a lean code is #174
#3 the code I get is a Mass or Volume Circiut High Input which is just the same code that comes up with those who have an old GMS2 reflash. I would get that code when there was Black rolling out the back of the car. I didnt ever get a rich cost but it should have. shit tune from GM.

cool man. I just dont want to see ya have a piston melt if your pully was truely causing the prob.

yeah the gm tune is nothin special :/
I get knock with just stage 2 and gmpp exhaust :(
