short shifter question.

I am thinking about getting a short shifter. Has anyone had anyproblems with these? What do all of you think about them? I don't care about a name brand, is there any other reason I should buy one over the other or is a $50 one on ebay for my car going to work fine. Thanks for the advice, i've always owned trucks so this has never been an issue I have crossed.

I don't think anyone here has had any problems with the bay short shifter. I've heard they are pretty much the same thing.

On my last car, people were reporting that ebay shifters like those were breaking due to weak welds so I'm personally gonna wait until I can be sure that wont happen.

From what I was told by a local dealer the B&M should be out for our cars sometime in late January, at least that was the last update he was provided with at the beginning of October . It's pretty much totally your call whether you're willing to take a chance on an ebay shifter or hold out for something like B&M...I'd personally prefer to spend the extra money on technology that's been tried and tested.
