Magnaflow Muffler = No SC Whine (from the inside)
Magnaflow Muffler = No SC Whine (from the inside)
so anyway, i just installed my brand new magnaflow muffler yesterday and i must say, i like how it sounds- throaty, basey, a little backfire (which i like btw).
The only problem i have with it is i cant hear the damn supercharger whine from the inside of my car anymore lol. i know you can still hear it from the outside because my dad gave it a test-drive right after it was installed and i stood on the street and watched it... i have to say it sounds really good from the outside...the combination of nice exhaust sound and supercharger whine sounds VERY NICE...its just that when i am in the driver seat, i cant hear it anymore and that was one of the things i loved most about our Balts lol. damn...

is porting hard?
ive seen the how-to...seems a bit intimidating...my dad owns a whole tool and die shop, mig and tig welders as well...we actually make mufflers for the US military lol, so tools aren't a problem...its just that i dont want to take off the SC and put it back on to find that it doesnt drive as smooth.
is it easy to port? how long does it take?
o ya, and i only replace my current pulley with a smaller pulley? thats all? how much would it cost?
