as far as i know you can only put a BOV on a centrifugal supercharger

 

even if it was possible... why?

 

i know its not an added performance thing, but pride aside, i really like the sound IMO... lol

 

then get a turbo swap.

the extra boost gets sent through the boost bybass vavle, wich is an internal part. i dont see how you could attach a BOV to it.

 

it could be done. and this is my last post because people are going to ask why or how. it just would not be very loud.. at all

 

they make horns that sound like a bov if you want the sound that bad...other then that it serves no purpose like said before we have an internal bov

 

you cant with our supercharger or at least our setup. Someone posted a picture back in teh day of a probe with our supercharger but with a different setup and it did have a bov, buy seriously though why?? because the sound? I heard it gets quite annoying after awhile. Even if you say I will never get annoyed of it you will eventually.

Whoah you heard WRONG. In regards to the noise in anycase.

I had a turbo charged Dodge Avenger before my ss.



The turbo spooling up was very distinct and bov was very loud. I had the turbo xs rfl (really F*cking Loud)

I had it on my car for 4 years till this happened


Never ever EVER got sick of it.

I would drive with my windows down and no music on all the time. I sold it after the some idiot on my street smashed into in front of my house and bougt my cobalt.

I actually miss the car and the turbo a lot. M new setup on my cobalt, 3"dp and exhaust is so loud I cant hear the supercharger at all anymore. I feel like im driving a rice burner sometimes. Anyways...im done. BOV's kick ass end of story.

if you wanted the bov sound so bad you should of bought a turbocharge car... not supercharge... hence blower spinning =whine

ehhh sorry man, id rather have something functional that actually makes noise from a release ...not just some speaker...altho it does seem pretty cool how its set to your psi boost

 

a bov is functional as long as it is re-circulating, basically what it does is when you shift all the pressure in the turbo goes out the bov and if it is re-circulating it goes into the intake and therefore back into the motor, it also allows the turbo to spool faster, don't talk about somthing you know nothing about.
