I have the same problem with my 2006 G5 . I took it to the dealer, and they had no clue how to fix it! I believe they tried to heat it up so they could try to lessen the severity of the deformation. Overall it looks a little better, but it is still noticeable to me! I figure that I can live with it.

Someone in the link I posted said there is a TSB on the issue, something like the headlight bar mounted to high, the dealer needs to remove the front bumper and move the headlight bar down and reinstall and it takes care of it.

This is what I was trying to confirm by posting pics, I was trying to make sure my issue is the issue he is talking about. Didn't want to go down to the dealer and sound like a moron. Anyway, thanks for the input so far guys! I think I will make a trip down and see what they say.....I will let you know.

Obviously with all of us having the same issue it's not our problem, it's not something we are doing or did to the cars, nor is it from driving, hitting something or any other BS excuse the dealer tries to give us.

I have dealt with GM before with a similar issue. They always try to blame the customer at first, but you have to stand firm and put up a fight. I went to the BBB for my last car and went through arbitration and won! Got the car bought back and all! Not saying I want my Coby taken back, I just want it fixed.

Anyway, I plan to get to the bottom of this, I will keep you all updated, cause either way bumpers shouldn't do this, and GM needs to fix them for us ALL!

My wife had a 05 Sedan Cobalt, we sold it when it had around 15k miles on her, but the bumper NEVER did this, always looked tight and new!

there is a bulletin posted on it by GM but all the GM bodyshops i talked to said there was nothing they could do about it. if they say that, they're lying. The job doesn't pay that much since it's under warranty so they try to avoid having to do it. you have to remove the bumper and put it back on right.

Thanks for the info man. From what others have told me in the other thread (I posted a link to this above in my first post) you can just remove the headlights as well and fix the issue. This is what I am going to try on my own first, see what happens, then go bitch to GM if needed.

Thanks again everyone
