S-10 tire question

Does anyone know how wide of a tire you can run (without rubbing) on a 97 s-10? I am looking at some corvette wheels that are 19x10 in the rear and 18x8 in the front. I have 235/55/16 on all corners right now on 16x8 rims. I thing the vette's rears are 315/40/19 and the fronts were like a 255/45/18. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

I had a Xtreme before the balt and looked into doing that at one time. From what I can remember you will need to buy some wheel spacers.

i had 15X10 on my in the back. but i also had a nice dish to them. the tires were pretty big too lol we did it for fun when it still had the 4 banger in it. i had 15X10 crager ss on it. like i said the tire bubbled out pretty good too so you should be able to go pretty wide.

I had 275/35/18's on the back of my '99 Xtreme on 18x10 2004 C5 rims with a 2.25" spacer.

Up front on the 17x9 rims I ran 255/40/17's with a 2.5" spacer.

This was lowered with the factory ZQ8 springs and an additional 2/3 from spindles and blocks.

This guy ran even wider: http://www.slammed98gmc.com/oldtruckpictures.html
