on the rear maybe. i don't think it will fit the front as the spare tire is a 16 inch, so i doubt you can go any smaller.

if you were on a drag strip, toss it on the back with a set of cheapo tires to lessen resistance.

oh, and it WILL fit on 2000-2005 impalas and on most malibus

With the 07's Chevy started converting the base models to 5 lug. I'm 95% sure it's the same bolt patter as the SS's. So those wheels would fit on those base cobalts most likely. That bolt pattern is also on Malibu's, G6's, and some Saab's IIRC.

They'll fit an SS/SC if you shave a little bit of material off the calipers. A lot of guys do it to run full slicks since most are 15" or smaller.

Anybody know if the SS/SC brakes are bigger than the SS/NA? I have winter tires that I want to reuse from my old car but they're 15" and I've been trying to figure out if a 15" steel rim would fit around the brakes on this thing.

15X6 would definately be steelies for a 07 LT model Cobalt... as they have 5 lugs and are the same bolt pattern as us.
