does anyone know where to oreder a new trunk for my ss/sc i don't want c/f just a stock smooth trunk

 

dealer.... or check all the local junkyards for a Cobalt coupe that has front end damage.

 

tried the junk yard no dice and dealer will be spendy

 

you could always trade it with a 2.2 with no spoiler.

 

i've tried to trade no one is down that has red

 

all discount parts has a trunks for 329.00

 

Take it to a body shop. They will pull your lock, weld it up and paint it. Thats how I and a few others I know have done it.

 

how much did that run you

 

I had other stuff done as well but it would have come in around $300. 2K5SS/SC? paid $300 as well if I remember correctly. Take it to a few shops and see what they will do it for then compare that price to getting a new trunk. Keep in mind if you do get a new one, you may find a buyer for your old one.

 

yea thats what i was thinking seeing how no one wants to trade and give up a smooth trunk
